heya buzznetters, been a while

I really should start posting more journals.
so here's a random one ;)

School started back up again this week and it sucks already.
the first few days were okay, seeing everyone again, but now everyone just wants to go home.
I've got a few new subjects this year. music, visual design, photography, visual arts, history, extension english
and maths. i already have so much homework. senior school sucks.

Death cab for cutie concert on this Thursday.
Words cannot explain how excited I am for it,
Chris Walla and Ben Gibbard are legendary.

Anyway I'm kinda running out of things to say, so yah.

the pope is coming, look busy

its world youth day, week, whatever.
completely forgetting about it, i went into sydney city today to get some new threads.
and hey, what do you know! the pope and his crew (armed with holy crosses and ten limosines)
comes down the street.

i'm not particulary catholic, so I don't particulary like being stuck in the middle of a march of
christians walking down george st. needless to say my shopping trip can wait until
next week.

just thought i'd vent my kind of unreasonable anger towards buzznet :)

don't you hate it,

don't you hate it when you've got the stereo on,

and its on the other side of your messy room,

and you're looking for the remote control to turn it off,

because you cant be bothered walking all the way over the

mess to turn the stero off, only to realise that the remote is

on top of the stereo, which defeats the purpose of having a remote in the first place?

prom night stole my sleep from me

its 8.00am and i've been up ALL NIGHT, haven't slept in 30 hours.
my eyes are dropping out of my head from being on this computer all night
watching one tree hill and gossip girl and on youtube.
now im on lastfm and listening to sum41, their new stuff. with me (L)
my internet bill is going to go way up.

PROM NIGHT IS STEALING MY SLEEP FROM ME
i saw prom night today. it wasnt that scary. pretty bad.
but the storyline is freaking disturbing
so thats why i had trouble sleeping
and still am (:

creepy, old, pedofile men. my worst fear. gahhh

something this beautiful deserves to be worn by someone worthy of its beauty.

so tired today, i was up till 4.30am watching episodes of gossip girl. i am officially addicted.
last week was one tree hill, now its gossip girl. this is what holidays does to me.
theres not enough stuff about gossip girl on buzznet these days,
so i just thought i'd mention how much i love it!
none of my friends watch it either, so if you do, talk to me.
so i can tell you how much i love it haha.

today i saw forgetting sarah marshall
it was worth it! i haven't laughed that much in a movie in a long time
so yeah, now i'm home and i'm on lastfm + listening to msi
figured out that the rocket summer are pretty much becoming my favourite band these days
run to you is my new favourite song (L)

Soundwave 2008.

last sunday was sydney soundwave, and it was so much fun.

so we get there and theres this HUGE line stretching basically all through the park to the entry. and it was pretty gross because the guys who where drunk starting spewing, which basically explains itself. we were in the line for so long that i missed my american heart play, so i was pissed off. but anyway they gave us a wristband and we went in.

As soon as we got out of the line we ran to see Madina Lake. they were awesome. everyone was jumping. it was kind of a small crowd but still so much fun because it was more personal. after they finished they came around and signed some autographs. but they werent taking pictures, cause they had to go do interviews. they were so nice though. then we ran across the park to the main stage to catch the end of boys like girls. heard the great escape and then they finished.

after that was plain white t's. tom was so cute. he was wearing these tight jeans with a tight little red jacket and raybans. he looked pretty damn good. they played hey there deliah and the chick behind me was singing so LOUD. it was so annoying. i taped a video and you can hear her :/ i met tom and the blonde guitarist, the hot one. anyway we got a photo so that was good.

At 1pm my friend called me and said we could go backstage to meet motion city soundtrack, but we have to come NOW. so it took us like 20 minutes to find the stage they were at and she took us backstage to meet them. all the guys were there except justin, and they were all really really nice. so we got some photos and autographs :)

after that i went and saw mindless self indulgence. i missed the start because we were still with motion city so i only sae the end of shut me up. but the rest was awesome. EASILY the best show of the day. jimmy was hilarious and lyn-z was jumping around like she owned the place. straight to video and 1989 were so much fun. everyone was just dancing there asses off. it was fun. and jimmy was running onto the other stages and saying 'IM IN A SOLO BAND NOW!' it was so hilarious. steve and lyn-z came out afterwards and i got a picture with her :)

we saw thursday, they were so good. loved them. we went and got some merch, i bought a saosin tshirt and a my american heart one. and then we went to watch motion city. hahaha they were so good. after that we went and watched saosin. i love them. they were so good.

so heaps more happened, but i ramble a lot so this will go on for ages.

pretty much it was just an awesome day :)
